Bitter Melon has made the YALSA's 2012 Best Fiction List

The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) selected Bitter Melon as one of the top 112 books for readers between the ages of 12 - 18 for 2012.  The books that were chosen had to meet the criteria of being both appealing to teens and good quality literature.
